Singapore-specificImport (IN) and Export (OUT) permit
The Customs permit needed to bring goods into Singapore (IN) or send them out (OUT).
In practice
IN permits cover import with GST payment or GST suspension. OUT permits cover export of local goods and re-export of imported goods. Both are lodged via TradeNet and must be obtained before cargo moves, except for some exports that can be declared within 3 days after departure. The permit number goes on the haulier's documents.
