A relaxation of the DG rules for small inner packages of certain dangerous goods.
In practice
If each inner package is below the limit set for that UN number, the shipment can move with simpler marking (the LQ diamond) and fewer documentary requirements. Common for consumer goods like aerosols, perfumes, and paints. Still needs the correct outer packaging and carrier acceptance.
