In practice
Unlike MYC, CGC is not one of IATA's standard other-charges codes. The standard set is small, AW for the air waybill fee, MY for fuel, SC for security, RA for dangerous goods, and carriers are free to bill their own codes beyond it; CGC is one of those. It is read the same way, a third letter C for the carrier, and is usually a flat few dollars per house air waybill for lodging cargo data electronically. Because it is not standard, what it covers and what the carrier calls it vary between airlines and stations, so check the tariff rather than assuming.

Watch out
Not an IATA standard code, so it is not safe to assume it means the same thing on two carriers' invoices. It is also charged per house air waybill rather than per shipment, so a consolidation with several houses carries it several times.
