A fee the port terminal charges for moving a container between the quay and the yard, passed on by the carrier.
In practice
Charged at both ends: OTHC at origin and DTHC at destination. Set per container size and type, in local currency. Who pays depends on the Incoterm: under FOB the seller pays OTHC and the buyer pays DTHC.
